Terms and Conditions

Last updated: November 3, 2026

These terms apply to all courses, cohorts, and workshops offered by Uniquity Consulting ("Uniquity"). By registering, you agree to them.

Registration and payment

Payment is due in full at registration. Your seat is confirmed once payment clears.

Refunds

All registrations are nonrefundable. Fees are not refunded for sessions you miss. If Uniquity cancels a course, or reschedules it and you are unable to attend the new dates, you will receive a full refund.

Transfers

If you can no longer attend, you may transfer your seat to a colleague before the first session. Send the new participant's name and email address to Uniquity so materials and invitations go to the right person. The new participant agrees to these terms by accepting the seat.

Recording

Sessions may be recorded for quality and product improvement purposes. By registering, you consent to sessions being recorded. When a session is recorded, Uniquity will say so at the start of the session. You may turn off your camera at any time. Uniquity will not use any recording, or make any part of a recording public, without the explicit written consent of each person who appears in it. Participants may not record sessions themselves.

Course materials

All course materials, including workbooks, slides, exercises, assignments, and frameworks, are the intellectual property of Uniquity Consulting. They are provided for your personal use as a participant. You may not copy, share, distribute, or reproduce them, in whole or in part, without written permission from Uniquity.

Confidentiality

Sessions work because people speak openly. What participants share stays in the room. By registering, you agree to keep other participants' names, stories, and personal information confidential.

Conduct

Participants are expected to treat one another with respect. Uniquity may remove a participant who disrupts the group or breaches confidentiality. Fees are not refunded in that case.

Educational purpose

Courses are educational. They are not legal, human resources, medical, or mental health advice, and they are not a substitute for professional services. Uniquity does not guarantee any particular result from participating.

Technology and events outside our control

If a session is disrupted by a platform outage, illness, or other events outside Uniquity's reasonable control, Uniquity will reschedule the session. Rescheduling under this section does not entitle participants to a refund.

Privacy Policy

Information collected. Uniquity collects the information you provide when you register for a course, complete a course questionnaire, or contact Uniquity through this website. This includes your name, email address, organization, role, and anything you choose to share in your message or responses. This website may collect basic usage information, such as pages visited and browser type.

How information is used. Uniquity uses this information to deliver courses, respond to inquiries, communicate with you about your registration, and improve its programs.

Who information is shared with, and how. Uniquity shares information with service providers that help it operate, including Stripe for payment processing, Zoom for live sessions, Webflow for website hosting and forms, and its email provider for communications, as needed for them to provide their services. Information is shared with these providers electronically through their platforms. Each provider's handling of information is governed by its own privacy policy. Uniquity may also disclose information when required by law.

How information is protected. Payment details are entered directly into Stripe's secure checkout and handled by Stripe. This website uses encrypted connections (HTTPS). Access to participant information is limited to Uniquity, and information is stored with established service providers. Session recordings are kept only as long as needed for quality and product improvement.

Your choices. To ask about, update, or delete your information, reach out through the contact page.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Uniquity's total liability for any claim related to a course is limited to the fees you paid for that course.

Disputes and governing law

If a dispute arises, both parties agree to first try to resolve it in good faith through mediation before filing any lawsuit. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois. Any lawsuit must be brought in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.

Changes to these terms

Uniquity may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect on the date you register applies to your registration.

Entire agreement and severability

These terms are the entire agreement between you and Uniquity regarding your registration. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect.
